# CEPHER Abridged Edition vs KJV Apocrypha

The clearest difference is review sentiment: CEPHER Abridged Edition at 66% against KJV Apocrypha's 23%. CEPHER Abridged Edition also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 4) and ads (none vs shown). KJV Apocrypha's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.1) and ratings volume (1.3K vs 105). On price, update cadence, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. KJV Apocrypha sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. CEPHER Abridged Edition asks for nothing beyond the download.

KJV Apocrypha holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: KJV Apocrypha has 1.3K ratings behind it against 105, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 66% of CEPHER Abridged Edition's written reviews are positive against 23% of KJV Apocrypha's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
