# 喜云 vs LectMate

The clearest difference is ads: LectMate at none against 喜云's shown. LectMate also leads on ratings volume (690 vs 9) and rating (4.8 vs 4.6). 喜云's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 28%) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.0). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 喜云 sells 7 one-off in-app purchases and LectMate sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

LectMate holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LectMate has 690 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of 喜云's written reviews are positive against 28% of LectMate's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
