# 1380 The Fan vs Tablo The clearest difference is rating: 1380 The Fan at 4.2 against Tablo's 2.1. 1380 The Fan also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Tablo's advantage is review sentiment (20% vs 0%) and ratings volume (107 vs 5). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them. Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay. 1380 The Fan holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 2.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tablo has 107 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.
