# Fighting Films+ vs Digitsu

The clearest difference is monetization model: Digitsu at free with in-app purchases against Fighting Films+'s subscription. Digitsu also leads on update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 3 months). Fighting Films+'s advantage is ratings volume (72 vs 12). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fighting Films+ sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and Digitsu sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $24.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Fighting Films+ against 5.0 for Digitsu. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fighting Films+ has 72 ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Fighting Films+ ships an update every 3 months, Digitsu every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
