# BalloonTools vs Ducati Connect

The clearest difference is price: Ducati Connect at Free against BalloonTools's $6.99. Ducati Connect also leads on ratings volume (27 vs 2) and review sentiment (10% vs 0%). BalloonTools's advantage is rating (3.5 vs 1.4) and update cadence (monthly vs every 4 months). On ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Ducati Connect is free to download; BalloonTools costs $6.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

BalloonTools holds the better App Store score, 3.5 against 1.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ducati Connect has 27 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of BalloonTools's written reviews are positive against 10% of Ducati Connect's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

BalloonTools ships an update monthly, Ducati Connect every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
