# Official Spurs App vs Fanbase

The clearest difference is update cadence: Official Spurs App at fortnightly against Fanbase's every 4 months. Fanbase's advantage is review sentiment (63% vs 45%) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Official Spurs App ships an update fortnightly, Fanbase every 4 months. Both last shipped on October 29, 2026.
