# Wavy Road vs PULSE

The clearest difference is ads: Wavy Road at none against PULSE's shown. Wavy Road also leads on iOS requirement (8.0 vs 15.1). PULSE's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 4 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Wavy Road sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and PULSE sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Wavy Road ships an update every 4 months, PULSE every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
