# CATLINK vs H smart

The clearest difference is rating: H smart at 4.2 against CATLINK's 2.7. H smart also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). CATLINK's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 7 months) and ratings volume (98 vs 6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

H smart holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CATLINK has 98 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 27% of CATLINK's written reviews are positive against 17% of H smart's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

CATLINK ships an update weekly, H smart every 7 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
