# CATLINK vs Scootboot

The clearest difference is rating: Scootboot at 4.8 against CATLINK's 2.7. CATLINK's advantage is review sentiment (27% vs 0%) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Scootboot holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 2.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 97 and 234 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 27% of CATLINK's written reviews are positive against 0% of Scootboot's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
