# Fluent Forever vs Lingopie

The clearest difference is rating: Lingopie at 4.4 against Fluent Forever's 3.7. Fluent Forever's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fluent Forever sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Lingopie sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $11.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Lingopie holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1.2K and 2.2K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 43% of Fluent Forever's written reviews are positive against 38% of Lingopie's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Fluent Forever ships an update every 3 weeks, Lingopie fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 17, 2026.
