# Sennheiser Smart Control vs Tribit

The clearest difference is rating: Sennheiser Smart Control at 3.4 against Tribit's 3.0. Sennheiser Smart Control also leads on ratings volume (1.5K vs 239). Tribit's advantage is review sentiment (39% vs 23%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Sennheiser Smart Control holds the better App Store score, 3.4 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sennheiser Smart Control has 1.5K ratings behind it against 239, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 23% of Sennheiser Smart Control's written reviews are positive against 39% of Tribit's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
