# Daily vs Scripture

The clearest difference is update cadence: Scripture at every 4 days against Daily's every 2 months. Scripture also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Daily's advantage is ratings volume (95 vs 3) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Daily sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Scripture sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Scripture holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Daily has 95 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 96% of Daily's written reviews are positive against 100% of Scripture's.

Daily ships an update every 2 months, Scripture every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
