# YLMSportScience vs Metric Jump

The clearest difference is update cadence: Metric Jump at every 2 weeks against YLMSportScience's every 5 months. YLMSportScience's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 26.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. YLMSportScience sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Metric Jump sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $49.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
