# JIMCAB vs MyColosseum

The clearest difference is rating: JIMCAB at 4.5 against MyColosseum's 1.5. MyColosseum's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 26 months) and ratings volume (53 vs 4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

JIMCAB holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 1.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MyColosseum has 53 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of JIMCAB's written reviews are positive against 10% of MyColosseum's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

JIMCAB ships an update every 26 months, MyColosseum monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
