# Flute Drinks vs Great White Cafe

The clearest difference is ads: Great White Cafe at none against Flute Drinks's shown. Great White Cafe also leads on rating (4.9 vs 4.5) and ratings volume (2.5K vs 18). Flute Drinks's advantage is review sentiment (75% vs 52%) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Great White Cafe holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Great White Cafe has 2.5K ratings behind it against 18, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Flute Drinks's written reviews are positive against 52% of Great White Cafe's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
