# Touch Portal vs MATRIC

The clearest difference is update cadence: Touch Portal at every 3 months against MATRIC's every 9 months. Touch Portal also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Touch Portal sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and MATRIC sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Touch Portal ships an update every 3 months, MATRIC every 9 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
