# Barely Visible vs Snake Swiper Augmented reality

Barely Visible and Snake Swiper Augmented reality both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Snake Swiper Augmented reality's written reviews are positive against 50% of Barely Visible's. Barely Visible's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 3 days vs every 7 months). On price, rating, ratings volume and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Barely Visible sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Snake Swiper Augmented reality sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Barely Visible holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 14 and 5 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Barely Visible's written reviews are positive against 100% of Snake Swiper Augmented reality's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Barely Visible ships an update every 3 days, Snake Swiper Augmented reality every 7 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
