# ROW8 vs IVOX+

The clearest difference is review sentiment: IVOX+ at 100% against ROW8's 38%. IVOX+ also leads on rating (5.0 vs 3.3) and ads (none vs shown). ROW8's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and ratings volume (48 vs 11). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ROW8 sells 21 one-off in-app purchases and IVOX+ sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

IVOX+ holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 48 and 11 respectively. Written reviews point the same way: 38% of ROW8's written reviews are positive against 100% of IVOX+'s.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
