# SIMO vs DropSend

The clearest difference is ratings volume: SIMO at 3.4K against DropSend's 20. SIMO also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.5). DropSend's advantage is review sentiment (73% vs 57%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SIMO sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and DropSend sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SIMO holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SIMO has 3.4K ratings behind it against 20, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 57% of SIMO's written reviews are positive against 73% of DropSend's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
