# SIMO vs Charity Mobile

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Charity Mobile at 100% against SIMO's 57%. Charity Mobile also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 2). SIMO's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.2) and ratings volume (3.4K vs 5). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SIMO sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Charity Mobile asks for nothing beyond the download.

SIMO holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SIMO has 3.4K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 57% of SIMO's written reviews are positive against 100% of Charity Mobile's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SIMO ships an update every 2 months, Charity Mobile every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
