# SIMO vs Auto

The clearest difference is price: SIMO at Free against Auto's $3.99. SIMO also leads on ratings volume (3.3K vs 3) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.6). Auto's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 57%) and in-app purchases (none vs 2). On ads and device support there is nothing between them.

SIMO is free to download; Auto costs $3.99 up front. SIMO sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Auto asks for nothing beyond the download.

Auto holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SIMO has 3.3K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 57% of SIMO's written reviews are positive against 100% of Auto's.

SIMO ships an update every 2 months, Auto weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and September 23, 2026 respectively.
