# Guidewire Events vs Applied Net

The clearest difference is update cadence: Guidewire Events at every 2 months against Applied Net's every 10 months. Applied Net's advantage is ratings volume (513 vs 5) and iOS requirement (15.5 vs 17.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Guidewire Events holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Applied Net has 513 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Guidewire Events ships an update every 2 months, Applied Net every 10 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
