# CharmPass vs WanderTrek

The clearest difference is update cadence: WanderTrek at weekly against CharmPass's every 2 months. CharmPass's advantage is ratings volume (33K vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.2). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for CharmPass against 5.0 for WanderTrek. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CharmPass has 33K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

CharmPass ships an update every 2 months, WanderTrek weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
