# Kenect vs RentKit

The clearest difference is review sentiment: RentKit at 100% against Kenect's 38%. RentKit also leads on rating (4.2 vs 3.9) and update cadence (every 4 days vs fortnightly). Kenect's advantage is ratings volume (69 vs 5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

RentKit holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Kenect has 69 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 38% of Kenect's written reviews are positive against 100% of RentKit's.

Kenect ships an update fortnightly, RentKit every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
