# TOPGREENER vs WLED+

The clearest difference is update cadence: WLED+ at fortnightly against TOPGREENER's every 6 months. WLED+ also leads on review sentiment (88% vs 69%) and device support (4 vs 2). TOPGREENER's advantage is ratings volume (3.5K vs 12) and rating (4.8 vs 4.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

TOPGREENER holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TOPGREENER has 3.5K ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 69% of TOPGREENER's written reviews are positive against 88% of WLED+'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TOPGREENER ships an update every 6 months, WLED+ fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
