# FRMD vs ChainCam

The clearest difference is ads: FRMD at none against ChainCam's shown. ChainCam's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 8 days) and device support (3 vs 1). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FRMD sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and ChainCam sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FRMD ships an update every 8 days, ChainCam every 3 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
