# Ready Time vs almost ready

The clearest difference is monetization model: Ready Time at free with in-app purchases against almost ready's subscription. Ready Time also leads on ratings volume (10 vs 1). almost ready's advantage is update cadence (daily vs every 3 weeks) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ready Time sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per year and almost ready sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

almost ready holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ready Time has 10 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Ready Time ships an update every 3 weeks, almost ready daily. The most recent releases landed on August 25, 2026 and September 25, 2026 respectively.
