# QR Me vs Sharecode

The clearest difference is rating: QR Me at 4.9 against Sharecode's 4.3. QR Me also leads on ratings volume (1.9K vs 44). Sharecode's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 4) and update cadence (every 4 days vs monthly). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. QR Me sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Sharecode asks for nothing beyond the download.

QR Me holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: QR Me has 1.9K ratings behind it against 44, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 87% of QR Me's written reviews are positive against 100% of Sharecode's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

QR Me ships an update monthly, Sharecode every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
