# HF UFO vs Snaptain View

The clearest difference is rating: Snaptain View at 2.6 against HF UFO's 2.2. Snaptain View also leads on iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.6). HF UFO's advantage is review sentiment (18% vs 0%) and ratings volume (342 vs 16). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Snaptain View holds the better App Store score, 2.6 against 2.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HF UFO has 342 ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 18% of HF UFO's written reviews are positive against 0% of Snaptain View's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
