# BlockyTime Lite vs fokus

The clearest difference is price: BlockyTime Lite at Free against fokus's $12.99. BlockyTime Lite also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 2) and ratings volume (374 vs 5). fokus's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 4 weeks) and review sentiment (100% vs 89%). On ads and device support there is nothing between them.

BlockyTime Lite is free to download; fokus costs $12.99 up front. fokus sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. BlockyTime Lite asks for nothing beyond the download.

BlockyTime Lite holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BlockyTime Lite has 374 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 89% of BlockyTime Lite's written reviews are positive against 100% of fokus's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
