# BlockyTime Lite vs Time

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: BlockyTime Lite at none against Time's 1. BlockyTime Lite also leads on ratings volume (374 vs 3) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 17.6). Time's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 4 weeks) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, ads, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Time sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. BlockyTime Lite asks for nothing beyond the download.

Time holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BlockyTime Lite has 374 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 89% of BlockyTime Lite's written reviews are positive against 100% of Time's.

BlockyTime Lite ships an update every 4 weeks, Time every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
