# Al Eshraq vs TVP World

The clearest difference is rating: Al Eshraq at 5.0 against TVP World's 4.0. TVP World's advantage is update cadence (every 4 months vs every 34 months) and ratings volume (5 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Al Eshraq holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TVP World has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Al Eshraq ships an update every 34 months, TVP World every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
