# AuctionZip vs PAC Auctions

The clearest difference is ads: PAC Auctions at none against AuctionZip's shown. PAC Auctions also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). AuctionZip's advantage is ratings volume (670 vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.4). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

PAC Auctions holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AuctionZip has 670 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

AuctionZip ships an update every 2 months, PAC Auctions every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
