# HostedTime vs Regency Oaks

The clearest difference is rating: Regency Oaks at 3.1 against HostedTime's 1.7. HostedTime's advantage is ratings volume (159 vs 7). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Regency Oaks holds the better App Store score, 3.1 against 1.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HostedTime has 159 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 5% of HostedTime's written reviews are positive against 0% of Regency Oaks's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

HostedTime ships an update every 11 days, Regency Oaks every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and June 1, 2026 respectively.
