# Nemonic Scanner vs Notee

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Nemonic Scanner at none against Notee's 10. Nemonic Scanner also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 16.0). Notee's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 6 weeks) and ratings volume (4.7K vs 1). On price, ads, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Notee sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Nemonic Scanner asks for nothing beyond the download.

Nemonic Scanner holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Notee has 4.7K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 58% of Nemonic Scanner's written reviews are positive against 69% of Notee's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Nemonic Scanner ships an update every 6 weeks, Notee weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
