# BigSIA vs AviEd

The clearest difference is update cadence: AviEd at every 4 days against BigSIA's every 2 months. BigSIA's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 16.4). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BigSIA sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $19.49 per year and AviEd sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BigSIA ships an update every 2 months, AviEd every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
