# Morse DeCode vs QRQ CW

The clearest difference is rating: QRQ CW at 4.3 against Morse DeCode's 3.6. Morse DeCode's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and review sentiment (60% vs 33%). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. QRQ CW sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Morse DeCode asks for nothing beyond the download.

QRQ CW holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Morse DeCode has 45 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of Morse DeCode's written reviews are positive against 33% of QRQ CW's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Morse DeCode ships an update every 2 months, QRQ CW every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
