# OUTLINX vs BinsAndBoxes

The clearest difference is rating: OUTLINX at 4.8 against BinsAndBoxes's 4.3. OUTLINX also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 3) and ratings volume (303 vs 4). BinsAndBoxes's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 6 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BinsAndBoxes sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. OUTLINX asks for nothing beyond the download.

OUTLINX holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: OUTLINX has 303 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 73% of OUTLINX's written reviews are positive against 80% of BinsAndBoxes's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

OUTLINX ships an update every 6 months, BinsAndBoxes monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
