# GSound68 vs DSP

The clearest difference is update cadence: DSP at every 3 weeks against GSound68's every 10 months. DSP also leads on iOS requirement (9.0 vs 11.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

GSound68 ships an update every 10 months, DSP every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
