# iPanda vs 央视频

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: iPanda at none against 央视频's 37. iPanda also leads on review sentiment (75% vs 52%). 央视频's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (4.5K vs 5). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 央视频 sells 19 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. iPanda asks for nothing beyond the download.

iPanda holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 央视频 has 4.5K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 75% of iPanda's written reviews are positive against 52% of 央视频's.

iPanda ships an update every 3 months, 央视频 every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
