# Olvid vs Agape App

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Olvid at 81% against Agape App's 33%. Olvid also leads on ratings volume (44 vs 2). Agape App's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.5) and update cadence (weekly vs every 6 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Olvid sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.49 per month and Agape App sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Agape App holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Olvid has 44 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 81% of Olvid's written reviews are positive against 33% of Agape App's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Olvid ships an update every 6 weeks, Agape App weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
