# Olvid vs Friends‘Act

The clearest difference is update cadence: Friends‘Act at every 10 days against Olvid's every 6 weeks. Olvid's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Olvid sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.49 per month and Friends‘Act sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $25.00 per 3 months. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Olvid ships an update every 6 weeks, Friends‘Act every 10 days. Both last shipped on October 16, 2026.
