# 縦式 vs CharaMemo

The clearest difference is update cadence: 縦式 at every 3 days against CharaMemo's weekly. 縦式 also leads on ratings volume (57 vs 11). CharaMemo's advantage is review sentiment (95% vs 86%) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.5). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 縦式 sells 7 one-off in-app purchases and CharaMemo sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for 縦式 against 4.7 for CharaMemo. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 縦式 has 57 ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 86% of 縦式's written reviews are positive against 95% of CharaMemo's.

縦式 ships an update every 3 days, CharaMemo weekly. Both last shipped on October 18, 2026.
