# Nception vs Hypergram

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Nception at 63% against Hypergram's 25%. Nception also leads on rating (4.5 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (424 vs 4). Hypergram's advantage is update cadence (every 10 days vs monthly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Nception sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Hypergram sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Nception holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Nception has 424 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 63% of Nception's written reviews are positive against 25% of Hypergram's.

Nception ships an update monthly, Hypergram every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
