# Screen Recorder ° vs Screen Recorder

The clearest difference is monetization model: Screen Recorder at free with in-app purchases against Screen Recorder °'s subscription. Screen Recorder °'s advantage is review sentiment (55% vs 37%) and update cadence (every 3 months vs every 9 months). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Screen Recorder ° sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.49 per month and Screen Recorder sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
