# InVid View vs NorthernView

The clearest difference is rating: InVid View at 5.0 against NorthernView's 1.7. InVid View also leads on iOS requirement (10.0 vs 12.0). NorthernView's advantage is ratings volume (33 vs 2) and update cadence (every 5 months vs every 12 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

InVid View holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NorthernView has 33 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

InVid View ships an update every 12 months, NorthernView every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
