# Revolution Prep vs Scoir

Revolution Prep and Scoir both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 63% of Revolution Prep's written reviews are positive against 24% of Scoir's. Scoir's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (6.2K vs 501). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Scoir holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Scoir has 6.2K ratings behind it against 501, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 63% of Revolution Prep's written reviews are positive against 24% of Scoir's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Revolution Prep ships an update every 3 months, Scoir weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
