# Revolution Prep vs 36 Education

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Revolution Prep at 501 against 36 Education's 14. 36 Education's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Revolution Prep against 4.5 for 36 Education. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Revolution Prep has 501 ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Revolution Prep ships an update every 3 months, 36 Education every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
