# Revolution Prep vs Empowerly

The clearest difference is update cadence: Empowerly at weekly against Revolution Prep's every 3 months. Empowerly also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and iOS requirement (13.4 vs 15.0). Revolution Prep's advantage is ratings volume (501 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Empowerly holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Revolution Prep has 501 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Revolution Prep ships an update every 3 months, Empowerly weekly. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
