# SNAP Parking vs NexPass

The clearest difference is rating: SNAP Parking at 5.0 against NexPass's 4.4. SNAP Parking also leads on iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15). NexPass's advantage is update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 12 months) and ratings volume (1.6K vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SNAP Parking holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NexPass has 1.6K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

SNAP Parking ships an update every 12 months, NexPass every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
